Hotel Specific Information

Is self and valet parking available at The Alfond Inn?

There is limited street parking available on a first come, first serve basis.
The hotel offers valet parking as follows:
Overnight - $20 per vehicle
Daily use - $10 per vehicle
Dining at Hamilton's Kitchen - complimentary

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm.  Check-out time is at 11:00 am.

How far is the hotel from Park Avenue?

Walking distance - 1.5 blocks to Park Avenue.  

Do you have high-speed wireless Internet access in your guestrooms?

We offer high-speed WiFi internet access in all guest rooms and public areas.  WiFi is complimentary and no password is required.

Do you allow pets in your hotel?

We provide a dog-friendly hotel environment.  Upon check-in, guests and their dogs will receive a “ Pup-welcome basket”.  There is a non-refundable service charge of $50 per day.

How much will my card be authorized for at check-in?

Upon check in, we will authorize room and tax plus $100 per day for your entire stay.  This will allow charging privileges on property.  Only the actual amounts charged to your room, plus room and tax will be charged to your credit card upon departure.  Some banking institutions take up to 72 hours to reflect a deauthorization. Please note - We strongly discourage guests from using a debit card as this will deduct from available funds immediately.  The Alfond Inn does not charge your card until check out.

Event Specific INFORMATION

Do you offer room blocks for weddings taking place at other venues?

No, but some exceptions apply during off-season months (June-August).

Is there a fee to use the dance floor?

Yes, the fee for the dance floor is $500.00.  

Is there a fee to remove furniture from the Conservatory?

Yes, there is a $250.00 fee. 

Is there an outdoor set up fee for events taking place on the lawn?

Yes, there is a $500.00 outdoor set up fee.   

Is there a noise curfew for events taking place outdoors?

Yes, the noise curfew is 10:00 pm.  

Can I reserve the hotel lounge for a private event?

The lounge is offered as an amenity to our in-house guests, therefore we are unable to close it for private events. 

Can I reserve the pool for a private event?

The pool is offered as an amenity to our in-house guests, therefore we are unable to close it for private events.  Some exceptions may apply between the hours of 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

May we bring our own wine? 

Yes, there is a $25.00 corkage fee per bottle.

Is outside catering permitted? 

No, we do not permit outside catering.
