Dear Valued Guests - From the day we opened our doors the Alfond Inn at Rollins has always placed the health and safety of our guests and associates above all else. We are working closely with state and local health officials to comply with mandated standards and follow best practice procedures.
We continue to stay abreast of the latest developments from Orange County and the state of Florida. Jesse Martinez, General Manager of The Alfond Inn, has been named Co-Chair of the “Bringing Back Tourism” working group assigned by the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force to create strategies and guidelines that ensure a safe and productive return for all tourism and hospitality partners.
During these times with COVID-19, The Alfond Inn is going above and beyond our usual high standards when it comes to sanitation and hygiene. Health, Safety and Knowledge are key. The hotel associates – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some ways we’re supporting them: Proper Hand Hygiene, Enhanced Cleaning procedures and training, Associate Health Screening/Temperature checks along with many other health initiatives.
Our goal with these heightened sanitation measures are to help decrease the risk of spreading COVID -19 and to keep our guests and associates safe. To assist with this, our General Manager, Jesse Martinez serves as the Chairman of the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association as well as a member of the “Bringing Back Tourism” working group assigned by the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force.
